NNormal launches its Lifetime Repair Guarantee, a free shoe repairability program
In collaboration with Vibram's global network of certified cobblers, NNormal introduces its repair guarantee to extend the life of its shoes as part of its commitment to minimizing environmental impact.
NNormal, the sports equipment brand founded by Kilian Jornet and Camper in 2022, has just launched its Lifetime Repair Guarantee, a free shoe repair program aimed at prolonging the lifespan of sports gear. To bring this program to life, NNormal has partnered with Vibram's global network of certified cobblers to offer free minor repairs on all its shoes. This initiative is part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to producing less and reducing its carbon footprint in every possible way.
Two years after its launch, NNormal continues to make durability a cornerstone in the design of its gear, believing that the longer products last, the less they need to be replaced, reducing their environmental footprint. Since the beginning, the brand has focused on innovation, creating increasingly durable products that extend their life cycle while minimizing their impact.
Lifetime Repair Guarantee, the program
The Lifetime Repair Guarantee covers free repairs on parts of the shoe that may come undone, such as the toe cap, as well as loose stitching and seams. For more complex repairs, such as resoling or major damage to the upper or midsole, NNormal will provide users with the details to connect them with local cobblers offering professional, affordable repair services.
NNormal has made a repair form available to its customers, through which the customer service team will evaluate each request and inform users if their repair needs are covered under the program.
As part of its low-impact commitment, NNormal will ask users who live within 10 km of a Vibram-certified cobbler to bring their shoes directly to the location, speeding up the process and helping consumers get their shoes back sooner. For those living more than 10 km away, a free courier service will collect the shoes from a location chosen by the customer.
For now, NNormal's repair guarantee is available in Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy, with plans to expand to more countries soon, offering even more users the chance to repair their shoes free of charge.
